Indonesia stocks higher at close of trade; IDX Composite Index up 0.18%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials , Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were PT Ingria Pratama Capitalindo Tbk (JK: GRIA ), which rose 34.44% or 31.00 points to trade at 121.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Victoria Investama Tbk (JK: VICO ) added 33.33% or 48.00 points to end at 192.00 and Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK: MTFN ) was up 33.33% or 1.00 points to 4.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Cipta Selera Murni Pt (JK: CSMI ), which fell 14.67% or 190.00 points to trade at 1,105.00 at the close. Sumber Sinergi Makmur PT Tbk (JK: IOTF ) declined 14.61% or 13.00 points to end at 76.00 and Indah Prakasa Sentosa PT Tbk (JK: INPS ) was down 13.82% or 21.00 points to 131.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 349 to 235 and 245 ended unchanged.

Shares in Cipta Selera Murni Pt (JK: CSMI ) fell to 3-years lows; losing 14.67% or 190.00 to 1,105.00.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.05% or 0.03 to $66.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.16% or 0.11 to hit $68.19 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 26.28 to trade at $3,320.22 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.52% to 16,245.80, while AUD/IDR fell 0.46% to 10,548.69.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 96.97.
