Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities , Media & Publishing and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were SHL Financing Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 1183 ), which rose 9.98% or 1.93 points to trade at 21.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL: 8180 ) added 6.47% or 0.90 points to end at 14.80 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL: 4240 ) was up 5.80% or 1.82 points to 33.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL: 2240 ), which fell 2.75% or 1.30 points to trade at 46.00 at the close. Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL: 2040 ) declined 2.60% or 0.88 points to end at 33.00 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL: 2082 ) was down 2.44% or 6.00 points to 240.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 192 to 135 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in SHL Financing Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 1183 ) rose to 3-years highs; up 9.98% or 1.93 to 21.26. Shares in Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL: 4240 ) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 5.80% or 1.82 to 33.20.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.82% or 1.88 to $68.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.51% or 1.72 to hit $70.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.15% or 38.30 to trade at $3,364.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.38, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 97.53.
