Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

Meanwhile, Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC: GAA_p ) added 2.14% or 12.00 points to end at 572.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC: ARG_p ) was up 0.69% or 120.00 points to 17,520.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Promigas (BVC: PMG ), which fell 2.17% or 150.00 points to trade at 6,750.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) declined 1.70% or 130.00 points to end at 7,510.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC: CFV ) was down 1.12% or 200.00 points to 17,700.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) fell to all time lows; falling 1.70% or 130.00 to 7,510.00.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.28% or 0.80 to $284.80 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 3.63% or 294.00 to hit $8,384.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 5.60 to trade at $3,322.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 4,023.25, while BRL/COP rose 0.03% to 723.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 97.16.
