Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate , Banking and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Menora Miv Hld (TASE: MMHD ), which rose 2.04% or 560.00 points to trade at 28,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE: NVMI ) added 1.46% or 1,380.00 points to end at 96,220.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ) was up 1.39% or 63.00 points to 4,582.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amot Investments Ltd (TASE: AMOT ), which fell 5.19% or 128.00 points to trade at 2,337.00 at the close. Dimri (TASE: DIMRI ) declined 3.57% or 1,490.00 points to end at 40,190.00 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE: DSCT ) was down 2.45% or 84.00 points to 3,350.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 223 and 66 ended unchanged.
Shares in Menora Miv Hld (TASE: MMHD ) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.04% or 560.00 to 28,000.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.61% or 1.07 to $67.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.26% or 0.86 to hit $69.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 18.58 to trade at $3,327.92 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.33% to 3.34, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 3.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 96.95.
