Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ), which rose 5.34% or 2.72 points to trade at 53.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) added 3.90% or 0.57 points to end at 15.18 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: HAUTO ) was up 3.52% or 3.15 points to 92.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ), which fell 2.32% or 10.20 points to trade at 428.80 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) declined 1.59% or 2.60 points to end at 161.40 and TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: TGS ) was down 1.45% or 1.30 points to 88.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 137 to 134 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.32% or 10.20 to 428.80. Shares in Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.90% or 0.57 to 15.18.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.49% or 0.99 to $67.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.14% or 0.78 to hit $69.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 19.19 to trade at $3,327.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.09% to 11.85, while USD/NOK rose 0.33% to 10.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 96.95.
