Morocco stocks higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.86%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking , Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.86% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Marocaine Ste de Therapeutique SA (CSE: SOT ), which rose 5.77% or 84.00 points to trade at 1,540.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Micro Data SA (CSE: MIC ) added 4.33% or 39.00 points to end at 939.00 and AFMA SA (CSE: AFM ) was up 3.07% or 40.00 points to 1,341.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Involys (CSE: INV ), which fell 10.00% or 20.65 points to trade at 185.90 at the close. Cartier Saada (CSE: CRS ) declined 9.99% or 3.85 points to end at 34.68 and IB Maroc Com SA (CSE: IBC ) was down 9.99% or 8.01 points to 72.14.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 31 to 26 and 3 ended unchanged.

Shares in Micro Data SA (CSE: MIC ) rose to all time highs; rising 4.33% or 39.00 to 939.00.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.58% or 1.05 to $67.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.26% or 0.86 to hit $69.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 18.63 to trade at $3,327.87 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.24% to 10.56, while USD/MAD rose 0.32% to 9.01.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 96.98.
