Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities , Petrochemicals and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL: 8200 ), which rose 9.31% or 4.30 points to trade at 50.50 at the close. Meanwhile, East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL: 1321 ) added 7.83% or 9.00 points to end at 124.00 and Arabian Drilling Co (TADAWUL: 2381 ) was up 5.12% or 4.10 points to 84.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Makkah Construction&Development Co (TADAWUL: 4100 ), which fell 5.65% or 5.80 points to trade at 96.80 at the close. Jabal Omar Development Company (TADAWUL: 4250 ) declined 4.52% or 1.02 points to end at 21.54 and Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL: 7203 ) was down 4.23% or 45.20 points to 1,024.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 212 to 119 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.19% or 0.12 to $61.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.30% or 0.19 to hit $64.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 14.30 to trade at $3,336.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.39% to 4.25, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 99.50.
