Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare , Utilities and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE: KOJAMO ), which rose 2.87% or 0.29 points to trade at 10.41 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmet Oyj (HE: VALMT ) added 1.43% or 0.41 points to end at 29.00 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE: TYRES ) was up 0.74% or 0.05 points to 6.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mandatum Oyj (HE: MANTA ), which fell 0.97% or 0.05 points to trade at 5.10 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ) declined 0.94% or 0.65 points to end at 68.85 and Sampo Oyj A (HE: SAMPO ) was down 0.92% or 0.09 points to 9.47.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 89 to 73 and 24 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 1.51% or 0.96 to $64.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.89% or 1.15 to hit $62.04 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 6.50 to trade at $3,321.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 99.81.
