Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.77% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ), which rose 4.67% or 0.61 points to trade at 13.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Subsea 7 SA (OL: SUBC ) added 3.43% or 5.70 points to end at 171.80 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ) was up 2.75% or 3.40 points to 126.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ), which fell 2.96% or 5.75 points to trade at 188.60 at the close. Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL: GJFG ) declined 0.68% or 1.80 points to end at 262.00 and Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ) was down 0.45% or 0.24 points to 52.96.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 146 to 131 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.56% or 0.96 to $60.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.39% or 0.89 to hit $63.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.00% or 67.84 to trade at $3,326.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.18% to 11.51, while USD/NOK rose 0.59% to 10.15.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 99.40.
