Finland stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 0.40%

Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.40%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ), which rose 3.60% or 2.10 points to trade at 60.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ) added 2.21% or 0.20 points to end at 9.34 and Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ) was up 2.13% or 1.45 points to 69.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (HE: NDAFI ), which fell 0.55% or 0.07 points to trade at 12.70 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE: STERV ) declined 0.49% or 0.04 points to end at 8.98 and KONE Oyj (HE: KNEBV ) was down 0.46% or 0.26 points to 55.74.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 104 to 61 and 22 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for August delivery was down 1.51% or 0.97 to $63.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.71% or 1.05 to hit $60.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.18% or 73.96 to trade at $3,320.54 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was down 0.54% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 99.51.
