Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Services , Telecoms & IT and Financial Services & Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 rose 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Fluidra (BME: FLUI ), which rose 1.69% or 0.36 points to trade at 21.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Indra A (BME: IDR ) added 1.57% or 0.56 points to end at 36.24 and International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (BME: ICAG ) was up 1.55% or 0.06 points to 3.99 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ACS Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA (BME: ACS ), which fell 1.74% or 1.05 points to trade at 59.45 at the close. Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA (BME: ANE ) declined 1.65% or 0.30 points to end at 17.91 and Acciona (BME: ANA ) was down 1.60% or 2.20 points to 135.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 99 to 93 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Indra A (BME: IDR ) rose to all time highs; up 1.57% or 0.56 to 36.24.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 2.17% or 73.69 to $3,320.81 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.51% or 0.93 to hit $60.60 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 1.33% or 0.85 to trade at $63.27 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.54% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.64% at 99.50.
