Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.69%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.69%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC: ARG_p ), which rose 0.98% or 160.00 points to trade at 16,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC: TPL ) added 0.84% or 100.00 points to end at 12,000.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: SIS_p ) was up 0.79% or 300.00 points to 38,200.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ), which fell 3.82% or 1,700.00 points to trade at 42,800.00 at the close. Bancolombia SA (BVC: BIC ) declined 2.84% or 1,500.00 points to end at 51,300.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC: SCA ) was down 2.63% or 1,920.00 points to 71,000.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.61% or 9.55 to $375.20 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.07% or 8.00 to hit $10,906.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.40% or 44.70 to trade at $3,232.00 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 4,170.00, while BRL/COP unchanged 0.00% to 738.21.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 100.22.
