Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool AS B (CSE: ROCKb ), which rose 5.15% or 16.00 points to trade at 319.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ) added 2.85% or 12.20 points to end at 438.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE: PNDORA ) was up 1.17% or 14.00 points to 1,211.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE: VWS ), which fell 3.72% or 4.10 points to trade at 106.20 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE: AMBUb ) declined 1.24% or 1.30 points to end at 103.90 and NKT Holding (CSE: NKT ) was down 1.06% or 5.50 points to 511.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 64 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.13% or 0.08 to $62.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $65.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.58% or 50.29 to trade at $3,237.59 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.82% to 6.63, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.81% at 100.13.
