Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.38%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Transport , Industrial Investment and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.38%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (TADAWUL: 2030 ), which rose 9.85% or 5.90 points to trade at 65.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL: 2240 ) added 7.73% or 3.40 points to end at 47.40 and ARTEX Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL: 2340 ) was up 4.35% or 0.56 points to 13.44 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL: 8260 ), which fell 6.45% or 0.49 points to trade at 7.11 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL: 4290 ) declined 5.11% or 1.45 points to end at 26.90 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL: 8200 ) was down 3.79% or 1.95 points to 49.45.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 167 to 153 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL: 8260 ) fell to all time lows; falling 6.45% or 0.49 to 7.11. Shares in Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL: 2240 ) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 7.73% or 3.40 to 47.40.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.36% or 0.84 to $62.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.17% or 0.76 to hit $65.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 20.31 to trade at $3,248.31 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.39% to 4.17, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 101.25.
