Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.41% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: HAUTO ), which rose 1.99% or 1.64 points to trade at 83.87 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ) added 1.89% or 2.30 points to end at 123.90 and Aker BP ASA (OL: AKRBP ) was up 1.35% or 3.20 points to 239.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ), which fell 1.08% or 1.60 points to trade at 146.90 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL: ORK ) declined 0.74% or 0.80 points to end at 107.70 and Telenor ASA (OL: TEL ) was down 0.73% or 1.10 points to 149.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 151 to 114 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.58% or 0.98 to $62.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.39% or 0.90 to hit $65.86 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 19.56 to trade at $3,247.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.27% to 11.58, while USD/NOK fell 0.44% to 10.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 101.04.
