Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking , Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.19% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Sanlam Maroc SA (CSE: SAH ), which rose 7.45% or 149.00 points to trade at 2,149.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jet Contractors (CSE: JET ) added 5.32% or 115.00 points to end at 2,275.00 and Risma (CSE: RIS ) was up 4.30% or 13.00 points to 315.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE: IBC ), which fell 6.17% or 2.46 points to trade at 37.39 at the close. Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE: STR ) declined 4.48% or 2.65 points to end at 56.55 and Douja Prom Addoha (CSE: ADH ) was down 2.74% or 1.09 points to 38.71.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 29 to 22 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.82% or 1.13 to $63.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.60% or 1.04 to hit $66.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 22.11 to trade at $3,250.11 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.20% to 10.36, while USD/MAD fell 0.22% to 9.31.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.56% at 101.03.
