Sweden stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 up 0.14%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology , Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.14% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ), which rose 40.46% or 1.62 points to trade at 5.61 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ) added 2.34% or 1.90 points to end at 83.30 and Sinch AB (ST: SINCH ) was up 2.17% or 0.53 points to 24.95 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ), which fell 1.64% or 7.10 points to trade at 426.60 at the close. Essity AB B (ST: ESSITYb ) declined 1.27% or 3.50 points to end at 272.70 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST: AZN ) was down 1.08% or 14.50 points to 1,322.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 415 to 349 and 65 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.73% or 1.69 to $63.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.42% or 1.57 to hit $66.53 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.04% or 33.41 to trade at $3,261.41 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.02% to 10.87, while USD/SEK fell 0.80% to 9.73.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 100.93.
