Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services , Building & Construction and Financial Services & Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 gained 1.01%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (BME: ICAG ), which rose 6.78% or 0.21 points to trade at 3.27 at the close. Meanwhile, ArcelorMittal SA (BME: MTS ) added 4.96% or 1.28 points to end at 27.09 and Indra A (BME: IDR ) was up 4.43% or 1.24 points to 29.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME: SLRS ), which fell 4.04% or 0.27 points to trade at 6.37 at the close. Redeia Corporacion SA (BME: REDE ) declined 3.68% or 0.68 points to end at 17.82 and Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA (BME: ANE ) was down 3.04% or 0.50 points to 15.94.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 134 to 60 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Indra A (BME: IDR ) rose to all time highs; rising 4.43% or 1.24 to 29.26.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.47% or 15.14 to $3,237.34 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 1.69% or 1.00 to hit $58.24 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 1.38% or 0.86 to trade at $61.27 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.38% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.32% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 99.59.
