Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: HAUTO ), which rose 5.56% or 4.40 points to trade at 83.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ) added 2.51% or 1.18 points to end at 48.15 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) was up 2.17% or 34.00 points to 1,600.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ), which fell 13.93% or 17.30 points to trade at 106.90 at the close. Nel ASA (OL: NEL ) declined 4.44% or 0.11 points to end at 2.32 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL: GJFG ) was down 2.94% or 7.20 points to 238.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 155 to 108 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.08% or 1.29 to $60.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.96% or 1.27 to hit $63.52 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 22.04 to trade at $3,325.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.27% to 11.81, while USD/NOK rose 0.60% to 10.38.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 99.06.
