Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials , Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ), which rose 3.87% or 16.30 points to trade at 437.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedbank AB ser A (ST: SWEDa ) added 3.58% or 8.10 points to end at 234.40 and Evolution AB (ST: EVOG ) was up 1.33% or 11.00 points to 835.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux AB Class B (ST: ELUXb ), which fell 17.47% or 12.90 points to trade at 60.80 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST: ATCOa ) declined 4.87% or 7.50 points to end at 146.70 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST: ATCOb ) was down 3.98% or 5.50 points to 131.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 433 to 334 and 62 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electrolux AB Class B (ST: ELUXb ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 17.47% or 12.90 to 60.80.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.18% or 1.35 to $60.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.07% or 1.34 to hit $63.45 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 21.89 to trade at $3,325.81 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 10.95, while USD/SEK rose 0.37% to 9.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 98.89.
