Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.41%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ), which rose 1.82% or 100.00 points to trade at 5,600.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC: NCH ) added 1.23% or 1,500.00 points to end at 123,500.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC: TPL ) was up 0.90% or 100.00 points to 11,200.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ), which fell 2.96% or 320.00 points to trade at 10,500.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ) declined 2.80% or 60.00 points to end at 2,080.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: SIS_p ) was down 1.35% or 520.00 points to 38,100.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.82% or 100.00 to 5,600.00.
US coffee C for May delivery was up 2.53% or 9.60 to $389.35 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 5.38% or 425.00 to hit $8,327.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.75 to trade at $3,148.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.77% to 4,148.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.36% to 729.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 103.92.
