Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms , Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 1.00% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ), which rose 3.06% or 0.27 points to trade at 8.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Sampo Oyj A (HE: SAMPO ) added 0.59% or 0.05 points to end at 8.85 and Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ) was up 0.58% or 0.45 points to 78.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmet Oyj (HE: VALMT ), which fell 4.24% or 1.16 points to trade at 26.19 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE: CGCBV ) declined 4.08% or 1.96 points to end at 45.99 and Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ) was down 3.21% or 2.30 points to 69.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 96 to 68 and 24 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $73.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $69.71 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.31% or 40.01 to trade at $3,092.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.43% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 103.94.
