Morocco stocks higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.41%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Pharmaceutical Industry , Software & Computer Services and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.41%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE: SNA ), which rose 9.96% or 2.08 points to trade at 22.97 at the close. Meanwhile, SMI (CSE: SMI ) added 6.94% or 146.00 points to end at 2,250.00 and Risma (CSE: RIS ) was up 6.07% or 17.00 points to 297.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were M2M Group (CSE: M2M ), which fell 6.21% or 35.00 points to trade at 529.00 at the close. Colorado (CSE: COL ) declined 3.33% or 1.98 points to end at 57.50 and Delta Holding S.A (CSE: DHO ) was down 2.91% or 1.95 points to 65.05.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 28 to 23 and 7 ended unchanged.

Shares in Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE: SNA ) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.96% or 2.08 to 22.97.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.43% or 0.30 to $69.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.27% or 0.20 to hit $72.61 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.72% or 48.99 to trade at $2,897.49 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.33% to 10.39, while USD/MAD fell 0.51% to 9.92.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.99% at 106.50.
