Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.23%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.23%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE: PNDORA ), which rose 2.22% or 27.50 points to trade at 1,267.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE: NSISb ) added 1.73% or 7.40 points to end at 434.40 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE: DSV ) was up 1.12% or 16.00 points to 1,443.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ), which fell 4.60% or 32.00 points to trade at 663.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE: COLOb ) declined 1.60% or 12.40 points to end at 764.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE: AMBUb ) was down 1.13% or 1.50 points to 131.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 44 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE: COLOb ) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.60% or 12.40 to 764.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.05% or 0.74 to $69.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.21% or 0.89 to hit $72.68 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 36.09 to trade at $2,859.81 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 7.17, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 107.23.
